June 17, 2011 NEW CITY AMERICA FORMS 61ST BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT!New City America and its President, Marco Li Mandri, announced in late May that it has formed its 61st Business Improvement District. This formation in the “Gourmet Ghetto” or North Shattuck business district of Berkeley CA, represents New City America’s 21st district in the San Francisco Bay Area. The district formation was supported by over 80% of the voting property owners in the district. NCA has an unprecedented record of district investigation and formation on the west coast. NCA is now spreading nationwide and seeks to have its 100th district formed some time in 2013. May 27, 2011 NEW CITY AMERICA ESTABLISHES 60TH BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT/COMMUNITY BENEFIT DISTRICT. REACHING A MILESTONE!New City America, has established its 60th assessment district, this time in the Historic Lincoln Heights Industrial Zone district of Los Angeles. The district was approved in late April with an overwhelming 80% of weighted support among property owners. This is the 60th district that New City America has formed since 1996, making it the most successful district formation company in the US over the past 15 years. This success closely follows the CNN Money report and video on San Diego’s Little Italy and New City America, which was carried worldwide in early April. More recently, New City America has been awarded contract and signed agreements in Chicago, Tracy/CA, Los Gatos/CA, Sacramento/CA and has agreements pending in 8 other cities throughout the nation. New City America is in the process of launching a new company called “New City Public Spaces” which will provide maintenance and public space development/maintenance services for existing BIDs, CBDs and municipalities alike.
